Unfortunately time doesn't always heal all wounds. Maybe you’ve been struggling on your own hoping things would get better over time, but as each day passes you feel the same, or worse! Perhaps you’ve been debating about whether you should reach out for help but have beaten yourself up because you tell yourself you should be able to just “get over it.” I’m so glad you’re here and have taken the courageous step to reach out for support! There’s hope - you CAN feel better. As your therapist I’ll serve as your guide; not just by providing a listening, supportive ear - but more: I will take it a step further, by also teaching you new skills and tools to cope and feel better. I’m trained in EMDR and enjoy assisting adult survivors of childhood trauma gain healing and wholeness in their lives. Additionally, I enjoy helping teenagers and adults overcome challenges related to depression and anxiety. I also work with couples who are struggling in their relationship. Lastly, as a follower of Christ, I am able to incorporate a faith-based perspective into therapy for those who wish to integrate that into their therapy. However, I want you to know that if your background differs from mine, I respect you and will not impose my values onto you and am able to hold space for differences of opinion.
